Today I noticed two sales that I made at my dashboard, but neither of them came through as email notifications. I always check my account every day for all my active listings, but if I hadn't done that, I would never have known about either of these sales. I saw a post on some website (not an ebay site) that said sellers are reporting this issue happening on ebay. so just wanted to add my report here just in case others are experiencing this also. I had previously set an automated message during the holidays for any buyers who might message me, because I was on a semi vacay however, I don't see how that should have created this problem. I still should have received the email notifications of these two sales. I wasn't blocking sales or in any way turning off sale notifications. Just wanted to do this as FYI for anyone having similar problems. Thanks.

I want to add another thing I just noticed, that when I printed out the shipping labels for these sales, I didn't get any email notification telling me that the labels were ready for printing as I always do. So something is going wrong somewhere. Whatever it is, I hope it gets fixed soon.

There are a number of posts on the tech board about not receiving emails.......... But depending on emails is just asking for trouble......best to make a habit of checking ON ebay everyday.......

I'm having the same issue of no emails showing up (and thank you for doing all the legwork/typing!) with the exception of the labels. I printed two this morning, and got both notifications, and hoped the overall problem had resolved itself. But later I got a question from a buyer that didn't show up in my email - just Ebay messages. So yeah, there's a problem happening.

I advise not to bother with all of this email notification - it's unreliable (and not just on eBay) and unnecessary - everything can be found simply by checking your account.

Same is happening here. Thanks for posting so I know it's not on my end.

Depending on emails to tell you if you have a sale or if you created a shipping label has never been a good idea. It is best to consult your Seller Hub and the the Order's Tile to see if you have any current orders needing to be shipped.
Being dependent on the emails will at some point cause you to miss something important. So stay in touch with your Seller Hub for your selling needs.

To update, I'm glad my post alerted ebayers here to the problem, and that something is going on at ebay's end and hopefully will be corrected. I decided to look at my settings and oddly found that the setting to receive notifications had been unchecked. I have never made any changes to my settings, and to see this randomly unchecked was odd, so I have now re-checked the box to receive notifications. I don't know if that will correct the problem or not. The box to get notifications for labels was still checked, yet I hadn't gotten notification when I purchased labels, so I don't know what's happening with that. So, be sure to check your settings just in case there's been some random change of your settings for notifications. To those who have said that email notification is not a good way to receive notice of a sale. I disagree with that. I do check my Ebay account directly at the website daily, but I still like to get the alerts with the emails. It's just convenient, easy and fast to see the email notices. And from time to time, I might not go to the site directly. Also, there are sellers who don't make a lot of sales, so they don't necessarily feel the need to check the site directly on a daily basis and depend on those emails to let them know of a sale. So, email notifications are very important for many sellers. I will update further if I find out anything else about this problem. Thank you to all who have responded about this issue.

Check your communication preferences. Sellers who are having this problem, myself included, are finding that the Item Sold notification has been unchecked by eBay.
You might also notice that your other preferences have also been changed without your knowledge. eBay's master tinkerers at work ...

Yes, this is what happened to me, the box for notifications had been mysteriously unchecked. Now that I have checked the box, I am now normally receiving email notifications and also notifications that shipping label has been printed. Definitely anyone having a problem with getting notifications, check your settings and you may find that something there has been unchecked without your knowledge. I don't know what caused this, whether an Ebay glitch or something else. Thanks for all the comments and feedback on this issue!
