It takes some getting used to, but it's a lot better then when they first released it.

Have A Great Day.

Well I'm a " fan" of that car, is it yours?

Same. As usual EBay has taken an aspect of the seller experience and made it worse for no reason. The new format is far less intuitive for my listings and takes minutes longer per listing. No big deal if I wasn’t listing hundreds of items a week. Hundreds of minutes added to my work week for no reason sucks.

It's slowly improving.

Nobody is a fan because it is objectively horrible . . . just like every other eBay "improvement."

It is obviously catered exclusively to mobile users, but no seller in their right mind is listing hundreds or thousands of items using their phone. Everything takes much longer than it should due to a poorly designed user interface. eBay either doesn't get this or doesn't care.

They will make minor tweaks along the way and hopefully reduce the huge number of bugs/glitches to a minimum, but the horrible interface is here to stay. When people say "it's better then when they first released it" or it is "slowly improving," that just means it has gone from abominable to horrible which is hardly a meaningful distinction. You can fill out the feedback form until you are blue in the face, but nothing ever changes in a consequential way. It will always be a bad, inefficient design and interface.

eBay is going downhill FAST. Go to any other selling platform on any other marketplace and I guarantee you it is better than the garbage on eBay. Why would anyone stick around to trudge through this nonsensical sludge? Oh, by the way, they are also charging sellers more and more for these "improvements."

What will get eBay's attention? Sellers leaving in droves? Check. Underperforming stock? Check.

I'm still using the "old" tool.

@richard1rst I was too up until a few weeks ago.  I woke up one day and found I had been opted in.  It is not desktop friendly at all.

Well in fairness, since I do not use the new tool, I don't know if it still exists but back when I first tried it you could return back to the old tool. They did hide the reverse button. But in the upper right corner is (was?) an eBay logo followed by 3 dots stacked on top of each other. Clicking on that brought up the option to switch back. They do ask why but you can leave that blank. Or you can mention what a POS it is.

Most of the people who have posted here concerning are not thrilled with it.  It is not user friendly and very time consuming.  This problem needs to be addressed.  Sales are tough enough without another road block to yet again hinder the seller and sales.

As time moves on, people loose that ability to click on the 3 dots and revert back.  Just depends where your account is in the whole changeover.

Agreed- it is better than a year ago - but hat is not saying much at all. It is a mobile phone app that they are hastily forcing onto a desktop to "unify" the experience.    This only results in a horrible, painstaking, disjointed, and confusing experience. It ignores years of desktop optimization and makes users fight with finding which little secret popup box a feature is in.

The shipping section has seen the biggest improvement since its start and they got rid of many of the popup menus and just put i on the main flow like the classic, but the rest of the tool continues to be a mess of extra clicks and time wasting popups.

Ebay has severely hindered the listing process and the steep decline in platform gmv has proven it.   Of course they are probably misinterpreting the data of course and blaming the economy lol.

I would suggest that you write every ad you can ASAP.  Even if you don't plan to put those items up for a while.  Just write them and keep them "scheduled."   I was lucky enough that they didn't change me until about a week ago and wrote up loads of ads.  The few I've written with the new design have taken much longer... and much more difficult.

Of course... with the drastic drop in sales these few ads could last for years!

Had to make a minor edit to a listing this morning (dot ca). Automatically gave me the new listing tool. There was no way to go back. It's a 180 to what we had before but I create my listings on PC. The new tool looks like it was created for an etchasketch. Maybe that's generous.

Heard another complain for a new listing default setting is bold which is at an extreme additional cost. Option to remove is hidden at bottom and there was no break down of fees. Haven't been able to confirm. Need much more coffee  to consider going that far out on a limb.
