New in package sheets

Hi.  I have a buyer that has filed for a return & is complaining that the new in package sheet set I sold her has some loose threads and a musty odor.  I sold her these sheets at half of what I paid ($100) and a $10 discount of my fixed price listing at her request.  Loose threads on on new items are not that unusual and as far as any odors (maybe dyes?) The sheets can be washed.  I think she is just fishing for further discounts.  No matter how frivolous her complaints, I dont think I have any recourse.  Any advice?  Thanks

Re: New in package sheets

please don't scold me.

If there is a legitimate snad claim,, Obviously I would pay for the return shipping,,

I said in my post,, when it's a clear case of a false SNAD.

 and fyi,, an ebay rep was the one who suggested the workaround.

Well....

I’ll just join a nudist colony, then, and ditch all the nasty dirty clothes completely.

So there! 😜

@this*old*attic

If you want real luxury, ignore cotton entirely.

Buy linen sheets.

They mostly come from the former Soviet zone and are priced much like the high end cotton ones.

But they are warm in winter and cool in summer.

Heavy enough to be the only cover  on a hot summer night.

They will need ironing, to look crisp, but they just get softer with washing.

Best buy ever!
