It looks like they are trying to compete with Amazon Prime.

Can anyone say "Prime"??
Seems they are trying to get in on another platforms thing...

Don't think it's new, I think they've had it over there for a little while.

Yes, we have had eBay plus for a couple of years now, maybe more, time does fly.

Sort of interesting that they'd advertise an ebay.com.au program on Yahoo.

Most likely have to. It has not been a great success, and so many buyers signing up to the free monthly trial not realising that to stop paying monthly after the trial they need to cancel before month end.
Boards over here light up about it on a regular basis

I clicked on the link and it takes me to the AU Sign In Page. So that is a good point, why is it advertised in the US?

...is eBay joining the rest of Discovery Plus, Disney Plus, AMC Plus, etc Plus...and many more on "streaming"...???
...pretty much with the same starting price $4.99...
...interesting...

Thanks to the app designer gurus for developing Adblock Plus. I never have to look at that junk.

I got this ad at the top of my email inbox a few days ago.
I agree with others that it's odd that this is being advertised to members who are not located in Australia, and not eligible to participate in the program. I checked it out, because I wondered if they were expanding it to include the USA. No, apparently not.

So are they going to give you $4.99 to take The Worst of eBay? Might be some real gems there.

See, that's why it's called the World Wide Web because its reach is... worldwide.
