Today I got a negative feedback. I never received any complaints from the buyer. Every single buyer who has had an issue with anything I sell, I have resolved the issue.
Just as I was about to email the buyer to ask what the issue was, I decided to check his feedback left for others. This account is less than two months old. Every single feedback he has left, four in total was a negative with the same complaint "No good". Even for the sellers who left him glowing feedback, the same negative.
I pointed this out to eBay and requested the feedback be removed. Two minutes after I sent the request, I got an email back saying it would not be removed. I assumed this was a bot making the decision. Should I call eBay or is that it? It is clear we have a malicious buyer here on the rampage.
Funny thing using Google Maps, he lives in a very expensive neighborhood. I don't know if it is a seller who sells what I sell damaging my feedback, or just an angry buyer seeking revenge. Ebay promised it would protect us sellers from malicious feedback. It is failing miserably.

Hopefully the actual 'removal' will really happen.

Checked. It was removed I think before the email was sent. Gone. No negative. I truly appreciate it. I had expected it to stay and I did not even have to call in to make my case. For me, eBay worked exactly as it said it would. I take back my criticism of eBay. It was more frustration.
It shows that if you keep trying, you can end up with someone who will see what you see. I checked to see if the other feedback this buyer had given to other sellers had been removed, but so far they are still there. I don't know if these sellers know they have some recourse to get them removed. I hope they do. Each of them, a negative on top of their feedback page.
