Buyer purchased an item last night. He then asked to cancel it. (It was late I didn’t see it until this morning). I assume he contacted EBAY about canceling it, as I got 3 messages. 2 from the buyer, and one from EBAY saying the buyer wants to cancel.
I don’t have a problem cancelling the order. However, I only have refunded one time before and the “refund” button was prominently displayed and it was easy to do.
I checked and the buyer DID pay. I have to refund him, but all I am seeing is the ability to cancel the order. My question, is it the right step to just respond to the EBAY email and hit the “yes I can can cancel this order”? Will that refund the buyer?
I am trying to avoid any defects on my end.
I wanted to just hit the refund button, but Idon’t see one.
thanks.

Just so you are aware--the buyer used the 1-hour cancellation request feature. Thats why you got the message from ebay. He didn't actually contact ebay.
