Need a little help

So I’ve been on eBay for a while but mostly as someone who just bought stuff. I just recently started selling things here and there but today is the first time I’ve sold something and have been asked for an invoice to be emailed to them. I’m not sure if what they are talking about, didn’t know if they mean the packing slip or what not.

I’m also a bit alarmed because i did get a notification that they paid but the address  on the shipping label says New York but their  profile says their location is Saudi Arabia. I guess I’m afraid this person is trying to scam me in some way. I’m attaching screenshots of the message he left.  Thanks for any help.

Buyers can print an invoice at their end. There would not be any reason for you to send one. All they have to do is go to the item in purchase history and print one from there. If they are trying to go outside of eBay messages with this request, only reply back through eBay messages not email and tell them you only communicate through eBay messages and that they are able to access that invoice through purchase history.

If they ask for exporter ID number or other personal ID information outside of information they already would have (like name and address), you are a private seller not a company so is not something that would be needed/available.

The address difference: more than likely it was shipped to freight forwarder in NY.

Check the eBay fee....if there an additional International fee of like 1.5% ? Would mean the buyer is indeed in Saudi Arabia. Sounds like it might be going to a friend and then off the that country. Google the address where payment came from. Is it an apartment or house? Could be going "freight forward".

Usually there is an account number next to name of the address...that would mean "freight forward".

And I would also take photo of package wrapped and send that to buyer also with a friendly hello your item has been mailed as shown in the photo. And let buyer know due to it going "freight forward"....if it is indeed please be patience because it will take some time to get to you.

(in eBay messages):

"Dear Buyer, thank you for your purchase! To find your printable invoice, just go to the page where your purchase is and click on "View order details" where you will find your invoice that has a "Printer friendly page" link for you to print it off. "
