I’ve read a few questions on this forum but mine refers specifically to the tags in New Without Tags

does tags refer only to the price tags? Or does it mean that the brand labels and size tags have been removed also? I thought it meant that only the price tags were removed but I just purchased a “new without tags dress“ and in addition to having no price tags the size tag was missing ( and furthermore I don’t think it’s the size that was stated in the ad)

To me, New with tags, means all tags that originally shipped with the product.

New without tags means some or all are missing.

If the size tag was not in one of the photos, how do you know what size you purchased?

Here's the definition:

A brand-new, unused, and unworn item (including handmade items) that is not in original packaging or may be missing original packaging materials (such as the original box or bag). The original tags may not be attached.

I would not consider the size tag to be covered by this.  If the item does not match the size in the listing, I would return it for a refund as item not as described.

You should ask the seller. To me it means it's  missing the hang tags attached to the sleeve to denote it's new.  Some sellers might think a tag is a tag  including the size tab attached to the sewn in label.

NWOT, to me, seems like a lie from the seller.  What new item wouldn’t have tags?
