Well, I've just read a lot of posts and it seems that no one is selling anything including me! Are the sellers that promote their items the only ones making sales???? I don't make much as it is because eBay charges too much but if I promoted my items, I would make zero after fees and shipping. Everyone's items should be promoted with the fee's that are charged ! I did try and promote my items once but sold nothing. I have two eBay sites and zero sales in two weeks! I can't even sell anything for .99 cents. I do not believe that most of my items are visible. I have little to no views. What is going on????

Same happened on me. Sales dropped suddenly

My sales are up. I raise my prices, and I sell more. It all depends.

It's all over ebay many not selling. Most likely if you don't pay you can't play. I don't pay so sales are dismal.

No sales here either. Today I checked one of the pendants I have for sale and could not find it listed anywhere on the Ebay site ,both from Google and the Ebay site itself. No views equal no sales.

Nope, only down 1% from same time last year

You know, if everyone's items were promoted, then in effect, nobody's items would be promoted.

1 sale in 3 days. But then, given the social/political/economic environment, and that it's the middle of August, I'm not surprised.

I don't use managed payments.
I mean I don't use promoted listings.

You are part of the pilot that is allowing sellers to go back to PayPal?
😉

I don't promote.
I met my monthly sales goal with 13 days of selling, and shut the ID down until next month.

What are you comparing sales to?
@mandisattictoyz has it right, compare to July /August other years not to June of this year.
If you have your records, it would be better to avoid comps with 2020 or 2021, which benefited from the pandemic surge in online buying.
There has been an across the board drop in online sales. AZ has posted two quarters with losses of over $300billion. EBay has lost sales, but remains profitable.
And the sellers who are selling, are too busy to come here and complain about slow sales.

I have little to no views.
You know that eBay changed what Views they show?
They have dropped views from bots and possibly even their own bots. The bots are still looking, but their actions are not counted.

Plenty of people are selling - they're just not coming here to chat about it because, well, no reason to.
