Must use Make Offer Option !

@sheliann0

While I no longer sell here and have no future plans to, please tell me you photoshopped that and this is a joke in preparation for next years April Fools Day. Please tell me this isn't so...

Ebay changes rules every single day.  I wish they could let us know in advance.

Gents, this is the second thread with this new 'warning'.  Could either of you explain it, please?  It is rather alarming.  /understatement

I went to list an item .  And this was one of options.  I am not sure what the fee will be.

 It’s scary here on ebay.  I was listing over 200 items, now down to 30.

And the threads are multiplying. Seems to me that even if eBay were insane enough to make this kind of change, they'd give advance warning.

This site is falling apart. They need to re-install a version from last summer, and then keep their programmers away from it.

I'm just starting my selling back up again so I have very few items listed at this time.    I'll allow buyers to make all the offers they want.  I will also ignore or decline all said offers if I so chose. Sometimes I do accept.  Buyers tend to become upset when their offers are ignored or declined. Not good for buyers or sellers.      Will ebay require us to accept certain offers next? Punish us for not accepting a certain percentage of offers? Do we double the price of our items to cover this best offer deal? I get too many offers that are 60% to 80% below my asking price.

I just tried to revise an already cheap item to _lower the price_, and before I could relist, ebay said I had to pay 0.35 if I did not also _allow offers_ on it!

I still have loads of free listings for this month unused, and still ebay wouldn't even let me _revise_ for free without allowing offers on it!

Be aware.

Wow. I've noticed in more than one situation that revising has consequences. If need be, I will just end the listing and start over.

I revised a BIN listing and LOWERED the price. They charged me .35. WHAT? The listing was already live and I made it less. I called CS and did get the fee reversed. But it took like 30 minutes. Ooh, maybe I should have raised the price and they would have given me a credit? lol

This is one of the scenarios I have been reading about on here with revisions. So a seller calls CS and they are on the phone for even a mere 15 minutes, is it worth their time? This is what ebay is counting on.
