Monthly Billing Question

I am getting ready to set up my store and I was just wondering if the monthly charge will be sent on the 1st of each month or on the date that I start the store? I can't seem to find an answer.

Thanks!

Monthly Billing Question

I pay on the 3rd of every month. Sometimes it’s on the 2nd. I don’t recall if  I opened my store at the beginning of the month.

ETAI found this when looking at store subscriptions

The first charge for your new subscription includes fees from your subscription start date to the first day of your next billing cycle, plus the following month. This amount will be deducted from your funds.

Monthly Billing Question

Stores are billed at the beginning of each month. Like @ebooksdiva     said, it's usually the 2nd or 3rd.

Monthly Billing Question

It is usually taken out of "available funds" for me by the 3rd of the month. It's been a long time since it has been taken out of my bank. I always try to keep funds in my "available funds" during that period of time. I do have Tuesday withdrawals...and I do have "instant withdrawals" where I can get "available funds" 24 / 7.

Monthly Billing Question

Think it's the same as it used to be.............they charge you a prorata for the part of the first month that you sign up and then a full month (in advance)......so that would probably happen on the 3rd of the month.

Right now you have 183 items listed........if you are going for a starter store, it really doesn't pay because you only get the same 250 free listings as you do without a store.......  Makes more sense to list and pay the extra charge for each over 250 until you hit the cost of the basic store......where you get a small cut on the fvf......just for information.......

Monthly Billing Question

Would the ability to offer store discounts alone be worth the $8 do you think?

If you subscribe monthly instead of annually then you can cancel any time without an early termination fee. Try it for a couple of months to see if the increase in sales from accessing promotions is worth the store subscription.

What you're asking about whether or not it's worth it is not a yes or no question. There are a lot of factors individual to your listings, pricing, photos, types of promotions you plan to run, etc. So if you're willing to pay for the first month or two regardless of the results, try it short term and go from there.

Monthly Billing Question

Ebay is not consistent on what day the bill me for the fee on.

Nor is it consistent on when it takes the money from my bank if I have no balance.

Usually, if I do not have a balance on the billing date, I have one before they take money from my bank.

Monthly Billing Question

Honestly, I do not think its the right time do anything on ebay.  People are having the worst time doing basic stuff. I cant even get a shipping label.  They said that a flat rate shipping box was the proper packing for a 40lb item.
