I recently shipped a package that buyer claimed to have not received. Despite having confirmation from the post office of delivery, eBay refunded the buyer from my account. Very frustrating particularly because I had spoken with two agents prior to their decision and was assured that this would not occur. Do I have any options?

Thanks for the information. My frustration is tied to the fact that they had the information but evidently didn’t look at…I am going to initiate the appeal process. I appreciate your input
Trust me you are not the first one to be irritated by the fact that eBay is simply too lazy do simply check the tracking history in the face of an INR. It's been a problem forever.

LOL, I was going to ask him/her that also, but I decided to wait until they answer the other question I just asked ^ (did they check the tracking on the USPS website before going back to the p.o. and getting that printout from them?). It's a pretty important question for two reasons: 1. What I stated about my own missing package cases from this month, meaning there MIGHT have been an actual glitch within USPS own tracking system, which could be affecting lots of sellers. And 2. If they don't even use the USPS website to check for tracking updates on problematic packages, they are probably not about to delve into the realm of home/online label purchasing and printing. You know, like 'old dog, new tricks' kind of thing. It may seem easy to those of us who've been doing it a long time, but it's actually fairly complicated if you stand back and look at it from the point of view of someone used to letting a desk clerk do it all.

OMG, there IS a USPS tracking glitch!! I just realized, one of my 4 missing packages is a GSP one going to Australia. So I thought, 'what if USPS just isn't showing any of the scans between my town and Erlanger, KY, but WILL show international scans?'
And look! It does! Meanwhile my officially-filed USPS missing package cases have had no updates whatsoever, on any of the 4, in fact one closed completely because it never even got an acceptance scan. By the way, all of them went out on days where they were not the only packages, and the others got all their tracking just fine. So the ones not showing scans are totally random. I wonder how many other sellers are having anything like this, and how many buyers are going to take advantage and claim INR??

My recent shipment to Australia.
The USPS leg to Erlanger. USPS tracking stopped at Erlanger.
The APG Leg from Erlanger to Australia.

Yes exactly. And mine stopped displaying scans after going from my neighborhood post office to our city hub. Yet both international tracking windows (on ebay and on the company's website) show that they are in possession of the package and processed it.
