Minor but annoying

I have a small store selling mostly used watches and collector's knives.   I recently sold a medium-sized watch and since it wasn't that large put in in the "unisex watches" category rather than men's.     I also specifically said the size of the watch "35mm" in the title, which I rarely do though I did say it could work for men with smaller wrists and included pictures with a ruler and measurements by calipers.  Now a guy issued a hold claiming I misled him saying

"It was advertised to be the right size for men but it is actually a tiny women s watch. The model number was not given".

The amount of money we are talking about here is really small - only $20 bucks - this is more of a "principle of the thing" -  I don't like dishonesty and false accusations.   I have a "no returns" policy but given the eBay policies that doesn't do much good.   In this case I'm pretty sure eBay would side with me but then he can just give a negative review.   Is there anything I can do?   Can I at least tell him to shove it before I issue the refund?

Re: Minor but annoying

If the buyer has filed an INAD, the chance of Ebay siding with you is almost none.

Accept the return and provide a shipping label.

Have a great day.

Re: Minor but annoying

Block the buyer.

Wait for buyer feedback and then write your response...and be careful how you word your feedback not using nasty words or wordage.

Re: Minor but annoying

What is a "hold"?

I dont see any FB left.

If he filed a Not As Described case with eBay, approve the return and refund when you get the item back OR just refund and be done with it.

Its up to you.

You should rethink the "no returns" policy.

Accepting returns even 30 Days Buyer pays stops a lot of issues.

eBay will not side with you and if you wait it out and eBay steps in you will lose your FVF and get a seller metric ding.

This is business and it is best, not easiest but best, to treat it as a business.

No one seemed to understand.   Can I at least send him a message first expressing my opinion and then issue the refund?

Yes you CAN (you are able to)..........is it going to help/hurt you?..........probably hurt, if you mean to be critical.

Of course you can. It may not be a great idea, though.
