I'm right there with you. I went out to start my car, I don't have a garage and it started! I am amazed.

My dog pees right out the door. I just open the door and he lifts his leg. He is holding the other stuff in and not eating.

That's how bad he hates to go out in this weather. He is a Chihuahua.

Oh and I actually had to get my big coat out. I usually wear a lightweight denim jacket until it's 10 below or so, then the big guns come out.

The United States Postal Service is suspending mail delivery in 4 states on Wednesday, January 30, in response to the severe cold conditions related to the Polar Vortex and Winter Storm Jayden. The Postal Service has a reputation for delivering in virtually any weather conditions, no matter how severe, but the record cold temperatures associated with the polar vortex prove to be too severe to be safe for letter carriers.

According to a release from the USPS, delivery operations in the following areas will be suspended for Wednesday, January 30:

Minnesota

Western Wisconsin

Iowa

Western Illinois

North Mississippi here.

63 degrees yesterday, cold front blew in around 0300, got up at 0745 and the temperature was 23

Got up to 40 today, supposed to be 17 in the morning with wind chills in the single digits and a high of 38. It's okay though - by Saturday we'll be back up near 60, so it's not hanging around like the cold did last year when everyone's pipes froze and burst when we had single digit temps for over a week (fun times, fun times )

I have not taken out my Elmer Fud coat yet - I may look weird (I'm a girl), but the coat is warm. I should get it ready to wear 'cause I may or may not have to go out tomorrow. Those hunting jackets are so warm. And to think I was contemplating selling it here, now I'm glad I did not. Wonder how I would look in it with my high heel sneakers . . . I need to wear them 'cause I can't reach the gas/brake pedals in Daddy's Equinox 🙂

We live in southern Ca. ,, still want to know ? Okay then . We had a high of 70 deg today and are expecting lows of upper 50's tonight . It's rough .. To make matters worse were expecting rain by Thursday . Tulips

Arizona here: Wednesday will be a Hi of 73 and a low of 49. Today i heard a leaf blower and a lawn mower running in the neighborhood. I lived in Wisconsin for 5 years back in the day. I just cant do that type of cold anymore. Stay warm and safe out there.
