I sent 2 messages in response to a customer's question. It will not allow me to send another with more information. Is that normal?

Can you post your error message? Sometimes we are limited in the info we can enter into a message (such as sharing personal info). As for the quantity of messages, there is a limit, IDK what it is, but it's relatively high, certainly not 2.
However, you are the 3rd post I've seen of this nature in the last few days. I suspect something may be up bug-wise with that. It'd be great if someone would post a screen shot.

I don't get any error message. When I click send, the message simply disappears with no evidence that it existed.

Just to be clear, you're saying that a potential buyer sent you an ASQ & you responded, then did you respond again to the original message? Or did they reply & you sent a response to the reply? I want to try & see if I can recreate it with you once I know the exact chain of events.

I replied to the customer's message. They did not reply to my reply. I tried to message again to clarify with more info and it wouldn't send. This also happened a week or so ago.

Also, my first reply didn't go through. I noticed it later and resent . I went through. Then another I sent went, but not any more.

This may sound obvious, but did you confirm in the "sent" folder that the messages aren't going out?

Ok, I will send you a message on an item. Then I will try to send another one & see what happens.

Check your messages, but it seemed to work fine for me.
You can also try to recreate by sending me an ASQ on one of my items & I will reply & then reply to the original a second time with more info.

@chuckpetersondesigns We've tested it a few different ways & all seems to be working. Maybe it was a glitch that's been fixed or not. I do believe you that it happened, as I saw several other threads with the same type of issue. If it occurs again, I would reccomend posting on the Tech Issues board here:

It is monitored by eBay staff. Like everything though, the more backup you have the better, so if you do wind up posting it, I would find the other threads & post links to those as well & also ask those people to post on your Tech Issues report. If they see an issue with several me-toos, it's more likely to not be user error.
