Messages via e bay

On going for 6 months e bay says its with their technical department.The only way I can see if I have a message from a buyer via e bay is to look through the items I have for sale and then see that I have a message BUT I can see who it is from but NO message so ask it to be resent then I can see it.I do not get an e mail to say I have messages.This problem is now over 6 months old and I have spoken to many people from e bay and "It is being  looked at " and I am not the only one

Are you on mobile or a pc? 

you don't get notifications on the bell?  they do only come once so if they are clicked on, it doesn't show up again...at least on a pc.......

If I click on My ebay there is a link to messages there at the bottom (at least for me).

Have you checked your site preferences to make sure there isn't something turned off that you want on or the other way around?

You don't see an indication under Message on your My eBay Summary page or Sellers Hub Overview?
