UPS tore off an ebay shipping label and returned it to our daughter who's address was underneath.

We re-sent it UPS for and additional $15.

UPS after hours of telephone contacts said to file with Ebay.

Would filing for a refund for a mis-delivered package be any simpler with Ebay.

Do the megalithic organizations create complexity to avoid accountability?

I would simply open a chargeback with your bank or CC company. EBay is not really involved in logistical operations. USPS, UPS, FedEx are simply service providers.

EBAY would not be responsible for UPS destroying label or shipping to wrong address.    If label was "never used" you could try to cancel it through EBAY.   Go to ORDERS, SHIPPING (select VOID LABEL).

I don't deal with UPS so I am not 100% sure this will work but its worth a try.
