Managed Payment Activation Timeline

I received the following email from eBay regarding Managed Payments:

" Update your account details by May 21, 2021, or your ability to revise or relisting existing listings, or create new listings will be disabled".

Here is my question, does anyone know how long it takes for managed payments to be activated once you provide the necessary information?  

For example, if I provide the require information, bank account etc, today, am I enrolled in managed payments within a few days or does it take longer?

Please be specific.

I signed up for managed payments (provided my information) on a weekend and by the end of that next week I was switched over to MP 

That was 7 months ago so maybe it is even faster now

I did it in late November and it took effect after a couple hours.

@lilbama911 I signed up for MP January 4th of this year. It took another three weeks before I was finally officially approved. I continued to sell using PP up until I finally was moved over, starting on Monday March 15th. So it took two months AFTER I was approved before I was actually moved into MP. Best of luck to you....

I just switched over in March.  It took about a week once you register with the required information.

How exactly did you all get eBay to email you to switch into MP?

I haven't sold anything here since 2017, mostly a buyer but I would like to sell again using MP. Since 2020, I haven't received any email from eBay. I did go to this page and click "Register Now"...

I end up here.

After I filled out the required info and click Send. There is no follow-up email, nothing. In all of 2020, I filled out probably half a dozen of these and nothing happened. That note over on the right that reads, "eBay will require all sellers in the US to register for eBay to manage their payments in 2021." I fear they mean by Dec 2021, not any time soon.

After I connected my existing bank account and was confirmed it took at least six weeks because I am a coin seller.   It seems to go much faster for non-coin dealers.  Part of my delay was probably because they hadn't worked out the issues by the time I was approved for MP.  

Just for the record I have been on MP for five or six weeks and have received perfect payouts every Tuesday morning with one exception when it arrived on a Wednesday.  Purchasing labels through PayPal has been a great choice thus far.

I don't think anyone can be specific  about the time it takes to be activated as it varies depending on the number of users that they are trying to process.  I signed up July 10, 2020 and it took until August 26, 2020 for them to switch me over.

Oops!  I as clicking on "Reply" when your post got "Accepted as Solution".   Anyway,  I got an email from eBay mid-April stating that getting paid on eBay has changed, along with info alerts about managed payments.

If you are excited and anxious to enroll in managed payments, list an item or two and eBay will contact you.

I did that once and was able to uncheck the post as the solution.

I recall it taking about a week to get approved and several more weeks to be officially switched over.  I think that was near to the deadline date I was given in the initial email.

My payoneer account was successfully connected with eBay on 11-06-2021 but managed payments has still not been activated, eBay says, "We will notify you of your account activation date in advance." I don't know when it's going to happen? My PayPal got limited and i am unable to receive payments until MP gets activated...
