Since ebay instituted their new selling policies everything has gone downhill.
The delay of up to 3 days for funds availability only benefits ebay. They have free use of the
"float" money during that time, free cash for them. Plus I've noticed sellers are waiting longer to
ship, I would too, I want my money first. Therefore, I no longer will sell on ebay, I will not be dictated
to and pushed around by a glorified auction house.

The Prime Rate is 3.25%.
A million dollars at 3.25% annual interest would be $32,500 a year.
Divide the $32,500 by 365 and you get $89.04 per day.
A million dollars of sales per day would be 100 grand in FVFs per day.
A million dollars of sales per day would be 36.5 million in FVFs per year.
The fees are much more profitable than any interest.
Companies operate on Net 30 Day Terms and employees operate on a 2 week payroll schedule.
There is no good business plan that cannot handle a trivial few day delay of payouts from Managed Payments. Whatever sells on Monday is deposited in my bank early Wednesday morning. Managed Payments is business as usual. You are making mountain out of a mole hill.

Lay the myths to rest.

Once your buyer has paid you are able to purchase your shipping label thru eBay. No need to wait on shipping. Yeah you will need to wait on the balance due you - not a big deal

What float money are you talking about?
Until the payment is processed and they receive the funds, there is nothing to float.
Once they receive the funds, they send them to your checking account the next business day, if you chose daily payouts.

They don't free float anything, they give you the money when it's cleared the buyers bank/credit card ect

Last year ebay's total US sales alone were over 10 Billion Dollars.
Using your math that's over 27 million per day.
Looks like you're the one making a mole hill out of a mountain.
