I LISTED A SET OF C9 CATERPILLAR FUEL INJECTORS FOR SALE UNDER EBAY#294111215394 I HAVE SEARCHED UNDER EVER LOGICAL NAME /TYPE /AND DESCRIPTION AND CAN'T FIND MY OWN LISTING HOW CAN POTENTIAL BUYERS FIND THE ITEM.

I just found it when I copied "CATERPILLAR c9 FUEL INJECTORS LESS THAN 200 MILES SINCE REMANUFACTURED" into the search bar.

"Caterpillar c9 fuel" worked too

I know people have been reporting issues with item number searches.

Are you saying when you put that number in the e-Bay search area, nothing comes up or when key word searching?  Link is above.

Did you just list it?  If yes, you can see it, but it takes a while before it is viable for search on the site.....

When I searched just now for "caterpillar c9 injectors", your listing came up for me....

I found them both by searching C9 CATERPILLAR FUEL INJECTORS and by item number.

As previously said, it does take some time for the items to show up in search.  Seems to be working fine.

btw, when I searched, it told me to enter the "year" that I was looking for to be certain these work for me.  I noticed your listing does not have the year in the listing or title, but appears to be something is at the top for a potential buyer to enter to sort?  Possible for you to include that to match well/better for your potential buyer?  (didn't even know caterpillar made motor homes...learned something!)

@charles7520, that listing has been up for less than a day, and you have already revised it twice. You changed the category less than 10 hours ago.

Every time you post or revise a listing, it has to be indexed into each kind of search before it can be found in search results. This can take up to 24 hours. If you were searching shortly after you made a revision, then you probably would not have found it.

My first thought was- "When did you upload the listing and when did you Search?"

EBay tells us it can take up to 24 hours for an uploaded listing to "index" and appear on the site.

It seems it takes the longest time for new and occasional sellers and for items that are high value/high fraud.
