eBay has decided to restrict my account and asked me for receipts/invoices of all the items in my active listings and they also blocked my payouts, so I can no longer transfer the money that's on hold.
It's the most ridiculous thing ever, I've tried to explain to them that some of the items were bought ten years ago and Ive never kept receipts. I mean they are toys, Lego mini-figures and hot wheels cars, yet there acting like I'm selling real cars and electronic equipment.
I've sent a complaint to eBay explaining how stupid the situation was, but they're not budging and still insist that I provide receipts.

A new seller, selling a bunch of new LEGOS, they want to make sure everything is legit.
If you can't provide the information they ask for, not much you can do.
I see you're listing them as new and one listing you say you washed and sanitized it, so it wouldn't really be new.

I can't see your sold items right now, but if you were listing them as new, that's part of why you ran into trouble. Anything 10 years old should have been listed some other way instead of new. You're in the UK, so the rules may be slightly different there, but if you can't provide receipts, your selling days here are probably over.

Are these items you're selling from your own personal collections?

Well I'm selling them as new, as in new condition, they're clearly not sold in their original packaging.
And if that's the case why doesn't eBay just asked me to change my listings after I've explained the situations rather than blocking me from selling.
And what if I was selling mini-figures in their original packaging sealed but purchased years ago what then?
I'm sorry but there is absolutely no logic in any of it.

Yes personal collections.

In order for you to list these as new, you must meet the requirements. Here is the NEW definition:
New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store.

Ebay never 'asks'sellers to change their listings, or gives sellers a warning before restricting them, guess they figure sellers should know the rules before listing.

There's your problem. If they're not straight off the shelf in original packaging, they're not new. Note, though, that eBay's problem with your listings isn't likely that you mis-described them (that's for customers to complain about), but that you listed a bunch of "new" items and it triggered their fraud detection algorithms.

If you purchased them years ago, they would be used.

What may be clear to you is not necessarily clear to the buyers. So don't assume stuff when writing a listing. That is a quick way of causing issues with a buyer.

Hopefully when you wrote that complaint to Ebay you didn't call them or the situation "stupid". That would be a quick way to get your complaint completely ignored. You aren't going to get anywhere by insulting them. When you want something from someone, you need to treat them with respect so that the WANT to help you.
Now it appears that your issue is likely because you were selling the items as new. You should try contacting Ebay and explaining that they are old stock, never used and that you won't list them as new anymore.
They likely want the receipts because you are listing them as NEW. You need to better explain this to them in the hopes you can get them to see the reality of the situation and ADMIT your fault in causing confusion because you listed them as NEW.

No, they would be used if I had played with them, they've been in their open original packaging for years, hence new condition.
If you buy a pair of trainers, never wear them, and decide to sell them on 4 years later ...you list them as new (never worn) even you had tried them on.
It's the exact same thing.
I appreciate all your answers, but to me it's just stupid, especially when I have had perfect feedbacks for all the ones I've sold, to me it seems that eBay is creating a problem that's not actually there.
And blocking my funds when I'm still supposed to send items to people who have paid for their items is most ridiculous.
I'm not going to send items if my funds are forever blocked as I can't provide receipts.
I've told eBay that I will not deal with it since they have decided to block my account, it's now their job to refund these people from the blocked funds.
