Low sales

I have had low sales in the last 3 months,  and never have before. I don't think  all my item are being seen all around the world on Ebay.

Anyone else having this problem and feel the same way?

Low sales

Hi, many sellers are reporting the same thing here in the forums. Examine the topic snd you will see numerous posts. So you are not alone.

There are about two main schools of thought regarding what is happening here. Some feel the it’s due to the changes recently rolled out by eBay, coupled with eBay’s tinkering with the site and viola! —they broke it. Others are blaming the fact folks are finally not as restricted in their activities now and are not home online like they were.

I think it could well be a combination of the two. Good luck and hope your sales pick up soon.

My sales are slow too.   There are 2 major trains of thought amongst sellers.

A) My sales are slow.  It's all ebay's fault.

B) My sales are slow.  I guess nobody wants to buy my stuff.

It maybe time to think on selling other types of products that are more in demand.

What percentage of buyers/sellers have a bank account??  If you dont have one you cant sell or buy on ebay.  The way I see things happening, is that ebay has lost many sellers and buyers for there change in method of payment. They should work with pay pal and not take there problems out  on the sellers/buyers.

There's always someone like you that comes on saying "Sell products that are in high demand"

People are starting to travel now more than ever, so what's in high demand?   Car parts, what's also in high demand?   Tools.    In Both categories I've seen this drop people are talking about in the past 3 months.    You can stop with that "sell something people want" nonsense, it has nothing to do with what's going on.

Everyone has their theories why but demand of product isn't one of them, there's something else going on.

Buyers can still use paypal the same way they've been able to for the past decade.   It's only sellers who are leaving, so if that were the cause, the sellers that remain would be selling more.

I came to this page to discuss this very thing......LOW SALES!!  Since the institution of ebay's genius

idea of 'getting all the money' forced payments, my sales have been on a steady decline and in the last few weeks they have been next to nothing.  I have an ebay anchor store that I run myself and I sell collectibles, most for under $10, which doesn't sound like much, but it helps pay my bills (I'm 74 and have been with ebay for over 27 years!).  It's finally to the point where I'm just about netting the rent, and I see there are many in the same boat.

Everything was fine with paypal for all those years, they knew how to handle payments, both incoming and outgoing.......now it's a COMPLETE DISASTER!!!  I actually don't know if it's the NEW AND STUPID payment system or if ebay is trying to WEED OUT small sellers?  Either way, they had better start thinking of a solution or sellers will seek other venues of sale.  I expect to get at least one 'phony reply' by an ebay employer using some seller I.D. telling me to 'Change my Selling methods' or 'Sell a different product......well my selling methods have worked for 27 years selling the same product!!!  Ebay...PLEASE FIX WHAT YOU HAVE BROKEN!!

Probably a few reasons as others have said. For me, I was selling and would spend most of the money here. Now, not selling, not spending. I'm small, but the $500 or $600 I would have made and spent in the last 2 months is gone. MP is the reason I left. Not for any other reason than I don't trust Ebay with my money. Giving someone you don't trust all your info is not smart. Not to mention the fact that they aren't doing a good job running this site.

I don't know about anyone else, but historically for me the summer has always been a slow period ever since I started selling here about seven years ago. Combine that with the fact that people are taking the opportunity to finally get out and about after being stuck inside for a year (ask me about how busy my B&M retail job is right now!), and sales are extra slow at the moment.

I listed something the other day and it sold overnight, though, so people are still clearly around and buying, just at lower levels.

I looked at your most recent listing, and it appears that you only offer shipping for that item within the US:

I looks like you may have misspelled "Edition" in your item title as well.

Most other listings appear to have other shipping options available. I see 691 items in the US, versus 686 when using a UK shipping address, for instance.

My sales have dropped considerably to no sales as well.  I know other Ebay sellers with really no sales for the past few months. Thank you
