Local Pickup…EBAY Wants Me To Add Tracking

I offered local pickup as one of the shipping options to several recent auctions. A buyer used that option. I marked the sale paid and shipped but now EBay wants me to add tracking number and carrier. I tried typing in local picked but it was not allowed without a tracking number. Anyone got a remedy?  Thank you.

You should have seen an option from drop down that pick up had been made. Other system in place is a packing slip with QR code that gets scanned and confirms buyer has received. The tracking number field with pick up is basically moot. Some systems will allow you to make method of shipment as Picked UP with date. Ebay is not one of them.

Not a problem. Happy to help. I have local pick ups fairly regularly. Have yet to use or need the code. Biggest challenge is the coordinating prior to purchase which is limited as per ebay rules.
