Listings

eBay has made it extremely difficult to sell, and get views. Your costs have become outrageous, and it is very difficult to believe that items that used to get dozens of views now go 7 days without one unless I pay for promotion.
As a 20+ year seller, I didn’t expect this huge change. Facebook marketplace here I come.  You are not seller friendly.

Re: Listings

Personally we don't pay much attention to views or traffic.  We only care about the ca-ching sounds ha ha.  On our other store we get them much more often than this one (sometimes it annoys the hubby since he does the PO runs and it's cold out).
As far as costs go, meh.  It's pretty much fair to us for the exposure compared to MP.  I used to list there, but got tired of the spam and no shows....so no thanks for me.
Best of luck to you though!  We all gotta do what we think is right for us.

Re: Listings

Awhile back, eBay changed how views are counted. Now views do not include bots, but only actual people viewing the items. Link below is the new policy with more information.

Re: Listings

I'm a new seller and can hardly believe that I may also be taking a look at Facebook Marketplace on the advice of a neighbor since I hate Facebook with the heat of a thousand suns.

Re: Listings

Promotions do not necessarily equal views.

Ebay can promote your item all day long ... but if nobody is interested in it, they wont view it.

"You are not seller friendly."

When you post here, you are not addressing eBay, its management or its employees.
