Listing with variations

I have listed items with variations but they were all the same ie shorts different colors and sizes. I have long johns I want to list is there a variation for tops and bottoms they are same color different sizes. Can I list top and bottom so if someone wants both but different size can I do this

Yes, just create a new Variation listings for each different type of clothing.  Don't confuse different types of clothing in the same listing as that is not what a Variation listing is meant for not to mention how confusing it would be for buyers and hard to find your shorts from your tops.

Thanks for your input but I was able to do tops and bottoms with tops and bottoms as the main variation then color and size. There was a good video on how to and worked well
