This is the notice I received today.
The problem is the listing was for parts to repair a REVOLVER. None of the parts could ever make any firearm into an automatic. PLEASE GET SOMEONE IN YOUR FIREARMS DEPARTMENT THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
You listed a sear, which is not permitted on eBay. Often it can be difficult to tell the difference between sears that enable a firearm to become automatic, and those that are being sold as replacement parts for gun repair. As such, we have decided that for this part, in order to not accidently allow prohibited sears, none are allowed. We appreciate that you chose to utilize our site, but we must ask that you please not relist in this case.

What firearms department? Bots target listings by keywords.

The somebody does know what they are talking about and they gave a logical reason for not allowing them (sears) at all.
It's right in the Policy, sears are not allowed.

There is NO 'firearms' dept (if they had a 'dept' for everything listed here, they would need well over 10,000,000 'experts'- simply NOT possible)
This is an automated site. Do NOT relist or you could get permanently banned from selling, forever.

Not sure why you think the community forums can help. We don't have firearms department. We are just members like you.
The message you received made it clear that your item can't be listed. Ebay does not want anyone to be able to even accidentally allow prohibited sears because it is difficult to tell which are which.

I agree with the no sear policy 100%. There is no sear listed in the listing. The listing is for repair parts for a revolver. Revolvers do not have sears. It holds 6 rounds and cannot be made to fire automatic. It is imposable to do. Also there is no frame. This must be a case of bots targeting listings by keywords. Thanks to all of you great eBay sellers.

A quick Google search turns up a whole lot of people who do think that revolvers can have sears.
