Listing from drafts has changed

Just now when I went to list an item from my draft page it now looks very different. Not helpful at all. When I click title and description it shows the description  in Hotmail format(think that's what it's called) instead of showing actual text. Also when I now press list item it takes me to another page and

 

 

asks if I want to promote it. Anybody else seeing this

I'm not seeing this on either my phone or desktop. Maybe reboot the app.

The extra text and symbols you're seeing is called HTML markup.  It should not normally be visible, and I'm not seeing it in my drafts.  You can either clear it out and type in what you want it to say, or try just reloading the page.

Yep! Just went in to add photos to drafts on iPhone and what a freakin mess! Not an improvement!! I skipped through all their “pages” of a draft, added photos, saved and finished on iPad! 

Descriptions on iPad though weren’t all just code like iPhone was. Descriptions looked “mostly” the same or as I had originally drafted them, but in several of these drafts eBay shortened my descriptions, taking my last line out (which for me is another place I put SKU)!

Not happy about this train wreck!

And mine just changed again. Now when I go to list a draft I have to go thru 5 different pages to get to list. This is a mess.

It used to have all the info on one page of a draft. Now it's five different pages you have to keep selecting continue. Ridiculous

That’s what I was seeing … many pages BEFORE I could add photos! Ugh 😩

I’m seeing this in phone app only … that’s normally where I add photos after doing drafts on PC or iPad, but it’s a big mess on app right now!

Issues in the past have been “fixed” by uninstalling/reinstalling or going through all the “normal” motions.

Did these things and nope, still a mess.

The whole photo interface has changed for me, extremely un-intuitive and impractical.

An absolute mess. I create the drafts on my PC, and just add the photos from my phone when I am out and about. Now on the app, 5 pages later, I can finally add photos. Seeing HTML as well, so who knows if it’s accurate. I am hoping they’ll change this soon because it’s incredibly clumsy.

devon@ebay  kyle@ebay  is this change to listing from drafts a test and how can I opt out. It takes much longer to list this new way. 5 to 7 clicks on what used to be one click.

What the heck?  This is crazy!  The format is all jacked up and it took multiple attempts to crop my photos.  Why the change once again?

I absolutely hate this change. I want to be able to click my listings in draft and it opens up the normal selling options on the app not this crap. It’s not helpful at all whoever said to change it was bored. Now every time I need to do a draft I skip threw all eBay’s promos and upload just so I can go in and edit the listing normally after it’s posted. Stop changing things that work fine!
