Listing Templates

I have been unable to update my listing templates for a few days now.  I can access and edit the template, but it will just keep spinning and saying "Saving Template", but never actually saves it.  Anyone else having this issue or know anything about it?

Any updates on when this can be resolved?
Every once in a while it will let me save edits to a current template but I have yet to find a pattern. Maybe after restarting computer? dunno

Me too, I had a ticket opened 30+  hours ago with no results but now I see this is a festering boil. I'm dead in the water with 100 listings cued up.

I can't create or edit a template and I need one for a new campaign. I can sell similar but shouldn't need to mess around with that.

I am also having the same issue. The circle just spins and does not save.  I left it overnight, still did not save. What a waste of time. Ebay, please FIX THIS!

Anybody.....Anything????? Have updated browser - per browser, Have tried clearing cache - as per customer support, filling in every field - per earlier in post, changing categories - per earlier post. Tried through existing listing after revising - nothing..... I have been trying everyday for past 2 weeks to see if issue resides. ........ nothing but a spinning circle.

For a new seller with thousands of trading cards to list, the "save template" option sure would be handy.

Any suggestions to what I am missing would be appreciated.

I'm on my hands and knees here.......  😕

I can neither revise current templates nor create new ones. Have had this issue for a couple months. It is mind boggling how this issue has not been fixed.

I'm having the same issue. I can't edit my existing templates. I can't create new templates. I've tried using different browsers, different computers. I've tried changing the categories, adding specifics, etc. Nothing has worked. I've been trying daily for a few days, in hopes that this was a temporary issue. But after reading this forums, it seems like I'm not alone and this may last a lot longer than I thought. Please help! Very frustrating. Please add me to your list. Thank you. Everyone: Asking to be added to the list here does no good.  You must contact eBay.  Click "Help & Contact" at top of main page, then "Contact us" at bottom of the next page, then "Selling", then "Creating a listing", then "Chat with our automated assistant".  Describe the problem and ask to be added to their list.

The more people do this the sooner they will fix the problem.  They don't make it easy!

I have found that of I take too long working on a new listing, it won't load. Sometimes it shows up in drafts and sometimes it doesn't. I have taken to making sure all the relevant item specifics are noted I  the description, and then copying the description before I try to save, just in case it doesn't take.

Exactly. I don't understand why this hasn't been fixed. Very frustrating. It's bad enough that all my old templates don't work because they are in the old category, but when I can't even make new ones, just wow.

Thanks for the tag @taziasmommy07! I've gone through and grabbed all the usernames and screenshots since my last post and added you all to the ticket.

Work-around until they fix it:

• Go to a listing that has a description that you'd save as a template (...if you could...)
• Check box for "Show HTML Code"
• Select all and save that code in a .txt doc (use notepad, or something similar because you don't want to have any formatting that you'd get using WORD, or something similar)
• Start a new listing, and go to the empty description box, check the box for "show HTML code" and copy/paste your saved code from your .txt file, and then uncheck the box for "show HTML code"
