Listing Quality Report

Hi devon@ebay . Hope you had a nice vacation. When you get caught up and get a response on the LQR, please post it here. The other thread you just responded to (link) was locked "due to age" even though it was only 7 mos old and the issue is ongoing, still unresolved, with no outdated info in the discussion.

For what it's worth, I see the LQR on my business account. I do not see the LQR on my lower volume personal account. Could that have anything to do with why some sellers can access the report and others cannot? Is eBay providing it only to sellers of a certain volume?

Thanks for the tag @wastingtime101 and for keeping the discussion going - agree the other thread should not have been locked as it is an ongoing issue for some sellers.

Your thoughts on business account vs personal account and/or going by sales volume were exactly what I thought might be happening when that other thread was started.

I would think if it is something straightforward like that, it shouldn't take 7 months for that information to be shared with the community team but sadly it wouldn't surprise me at this point.

Hopefully Devon can find something out soon.

Re: Listing Quality Report

I've been asking about the LQR for months. I keep getting added to a list for whatever the ticket they have open is. I don't think its related to the the sales volume, because a friend of mine and I both have the same store subscription and gross very close to the same amount monthly and she can still see it. I cannot.

Re: Listing Quality Report

New update from eBay Open:

David Bernstein, Product Manager, Seller Experience said, "As to the Product Quality Report, it's been available to a small number of sellers and rather than opening it up to more sellers, we are working on ways of providing the same info more directly in the places where you manage your active listings."

Hi devon@ebay . You've been trying to get us answers on this for months. Maybe you can connect with David to find out why that's been so difficult, when he was easily able to provide a quick answer on the eBay Open Expo Booth Q&A after @dhbookds brought it up. There's obviously room here to improve the process within eBay, making your job less difficult and avoiding seller frustration for months on end over lack of information.

@wastingtime101

here's another answer about it on the Seller Hub Performance Board:  I did @Bernstein about it on the board where he posted the  answer that Wastingtime quoted.

Re: Listing Quality Report

Here's the reply @dhbookds :

David Bernstein - eBay
Hi @D , so sorry for frustrating you. Lots of moving parts at eBay! I reached out to the team responsible for the listing quality report and learned that the current version is not being ramped to more sellers -- but if any sellers reach out and ask to get it, the team will add the feature for those sellers.

Starting sometime next year, key insights and recommendations (formerly in the listing quality report -- which is an Excel spreadsheet for those who don't know) will be shown directly on the Seller Hub active listings page as well as on the Performance Summary page. Again, sorry for the confusion.

Seems like we finally have some clarification on this.

Re: Listing Quality Report

Well we know a lot more now than we did before. Devon couldn't get us an answer sooner because even the product team didn't know what they were going to do with the LQR. I'll even go as far as guessing it was Devon's continuous inquiries on sellers' behalf that the topic stayed relevant and in discussion with the product team.

Remember at the very beginning there was a notice on the seller performance page that the LQR was being retired?

So eBay brought it back in a limited capacity to a small number of sellers after all the complaints about it going away.

In my opinion, even though eBay didn't know what they were going to do, they could have been more transparent about why some sellers had access while others didn't, and told us they may not have any more info until 3rd or 4th quarter as to the future of the data. Would have reduced seller frustration levels to have some info as opposed to no info for 7+ mos.

Re: Listing Quality Report

I've also had the report and then it disappeared. I've been added to tickets by some, told the report doesn't exist by others, and told "we are working on it " by yet others.  Super frustrating. I've requested it back, and am hopeful to see it again.  so from what I'm reading they are slowly adding it back to some users? OR are they changing it and bringing it back with a new name?  I'd really love to know, that report really helped me refine my listings.
