List Price Issues

I'm currently having an issue with some of my products showing a list price that I have never sold that product at that price point. The Now price that is showing is what I have always sold and listed that product at, so does anyone know where these prices come from and how to fix it?

I'm a bit unclear........... $25 is the normal list price and you're running 70% off that so the NOW price should be somewhere near $7.50?

are you using a 3rd party to do listing/pricing etc? or are you manually controlling your listings?

he's saying he's never sold that item for $95 and has no idea where that figure came from. He does sell it for $25- so the 70% is off the 'made up' $95 price point.

No, we are manually doing the pricing. It is just strange as it just recently started doing this and it isn't even on all of our products it's only on a handful!

The $25 is the normal list price and we are not actually running any type of sale on that particular item at this time!

It might be their catalog system, recognizing a price as a list price, and then adding it to your item (using the UPC Code)? Sounds like they have the wrong list price though....

Not sure it's so much the "wrong price" as many of the "daily deals" have supposed list prices that are WAY above what they've ever sold those items at.

Sounds like somehow the OP got opted into something they never signed up for.

We actually do not have UPC Codes, they don't apply to our products rather we use our own Custom Number. It's frustrating they would even do that on products and not have a way for the sellers to fix that! Looks like you are getting a larger discount than you are and that's just not how we price things! Next step is contacting customer service I assume 😞

what's the item #?  have you tried to just change the price?

Not sure that would work. It's my understanding that only certain sellers are given the opportunity to list this way and that's usually by invitation.

Op may have to contact CSR and hope they have an answer/solution.

You can see the OP's items-there are numerous items listed this way, not just 1.

Yep currently we are running a sale on several items but unfortunately this issue has happened when we have no sales running at all!

Yep, I did try and change the prices. I even ended the listings and tried listing a similar listing and same thing! I'm guessing it is something I will have to address with customer service.

To my knowledge we did not sign up for anything and it was recently this has started happening. I've combed through all my eBay emails to make sure I didn't miss anything too!!
