Has anyone else had something like this or similar happen. In the last 2 weeks we have received 3 chargeback requests as "transaction not recognized" all on unopened Lego sets. All there where delivered with out issue. All were going to different address in different states (NJ, WA, and CA). We have been protected on all of them so far but it just seemed weird to me that never had one in 2 years and then in a short amount of time all on the same type of item. I had seen a post in the history back in February that had the same issue on one chargeback on a Lego set but didn't see if others had similar issue.

That's pretty common with Lego. If you've avoided it to date that's a great track record.
You should be covered by seller protections.

@rainbowcomicsandcards
Just curious, but were these sales involving OFFERS that you accepted?

I like these chargebacks if I get a chargeback.
It means as long as i delivered to the address on the order I keep all the money.
At least you aren't getting INAD chargebacks because then you have to decide to give it away for free or go to battle and potentially lose more if you lose.

Lego Sets are a commodity on the black market. They're easy to steal and easy to sell.

Put the tracking number in the Dispute.
Confirm that the address you used was the one on the invoice.
Do NOT trust eBay to do this for you.

Unless you get one beyond the point of tracking info being visible.

Just curious. How expensive were these Lego sets?

Bummer. At least you were covered.
I just looked up the selling prices of some of these sets and do they really sell for $2500, $5000 and even $10,000, or are these like the Black Diamond VHS tapes? If they do sell for that amount of money or even anything close to $1000, are there any limits on what the sellers protections cover as far as value?
