I’m a Top Rate Seller and I try to do everything right, I didn’t Print Shipping Lables on 3 of My Packages because it was the Holiday and the Post Office was closed and I don’t Print My Shipping Lables until I know I will be Shipping My Packages in the next 2-3 hrs. I have noticed that most Sellers Print their Shipping Lables as soon as they get the Ok to Ship even if it is the weekend or Holiday, am I doing it wrong by waiting or should I Print My Shipping Labels as soon as I get the Ok that it can be Shipped, The reason for this Question it brought my “ On Time Validated” to 92.31%, I’m trying to keep all My qualifications Perfect.
Thank You

i print the labels the day payment is received, not the day i plan to ship... i don't have any problem with my on-time stats...

I have a 1-day handling time, so I print my labels the morning I plan to ship. I started doing this because ebay's message to the buyer stated that the item shipped the minute you printed the label. I understand that ebay finally changed that message to the item will be shipped. A step in the right direction. We have to specify the shipping date, which can only be up to 3 days in the future, so why doesn't ebay include that date?
Anyway, I still print the morning I plan to ship, and my uploaded & validated is 97.14%.

Thank You, mine went down from perfect to 92.31% will that eventually be corrected? I couldn’t ship with the Holidays & I may get an order in the middle of the night on Friday, and the way I understood it we don’t have to Ship on Saturdays, I just hate for My Status not to be 100%

I always wait to print also for several reason. I have had buyers puchase again later on and combining is still posible then Also you might get a cancel request. And as mentioned I don't want my buyer thinking I shipped it friday or saturday when It really wont be until monday.
I have never had a problem doing it this way with the metrics.
You mentioned On time validated. This sounds more like your packages didn't get a scan within your handling time then the tracking being uploaded.

If those late scans aren't corrected on your next review, call ebay.
If you didn't ship on Christmas Eve Day because your post office was closed, that doesn't matter; it was considered a business day. You may be able to appeal that late scan if that was the case, though, if you can prove you had no mail service. Maybe.
I never print my label until about 2 hours before going to the post office because of the "your item has shipped" message to buyers. I realize that has changed but now it's a habit.

Thank You Sherry, its worth a try, as soon as i print the Shipping label I contact the Buyer, then when the item is in its way I again send them a small message, so i dont want to Say I'm Shipping when I’m not, My Status is very important to me but My Customers ( Buyers) are more important, i sent messages to My Customers that the Package wouldnt be Shipped out the day i thought it was going to be Shipped and I had very good replies
