Item switch in mail

I've been on E-Bay a lot of years. This is the weirdest one I've had. I shipped a pair of cowboy boot across country and the buyer received someones prescription from CVS that came from my town. somehow my boots label was removed and attached to this prescription order. now I get a refund from ebay for over paying for shipping, ofcourse boots are heavy. now I'm out the boots have to refund. anyone ever happen something like this happen.  At first I thought buyer was scaming me but picture he send of box was not mine and package from CVS is right around the corner from my house. inside job at post office?

Re: Item switch in mail

ask the buyer to send you a photo of the box, label, and of the prescription bottle / box all in the same photo so you can investigate what happened from your end. See what happens.

Re: Item switch in mail

It's on it's way back to me. post office is telling me CVS did it and for me to go there. They couldn't have drugs where picked up Wednesday my package went out Saturday. Seems like they should be more concerned its their shipping account.

Re: Item switch in mail

I did that, checked his area where he lives and if he had someone near me, nothing. I don't think it had anything to do with buyer. Seems like the post office switched the label. how would a CVS shipment that was to be delivered local end up where the boot shipment was to go, and how would anyone know what was in the box? Just too weird. Post Office called me that the CVS shipment was back here at the post office since the buyer returned it. They couldn't open it so I went in and we opened it. They are checking with the person it is addressed to but so far I have heard nothing.
