Item not received case

So I sold an item in April 2022 that was rather large I paid between $70 and $100 for it to be shipped promptly.   The item sold for about $60.     The buyer opened a case prior to the 3 day mark of when I was to have item shipped out.   I was slightly late in getting this item shipped out but was able to provide tracking showing the item being picked up by buyer.      After providing this I still lost the dispute.     Why?

None of the sold listings under this ID match the description of what you have posted. To be able to offer advice, we'd need more details... or a look at the listing, if you want to post the listing number here. Expand, please...

If your tracking showed delivery (and a buyer picking up the item is considered delivery) then i would absolutely appeal the ruling.

But before i can figure out why you lost the case, i need to ask a couple of questions—did you upload the tracking number into the case notes? Did it show delivery yet? Did you use an “integrated carrier” from eBay’s list of approved shipping entities?

I appealed it, with the tracking information attached, no luck.

Item not received case

It was labeled marked as shipped, and then I uploaded an attachment with the receipt showing the tracking

"I paid between $70 and $100 for it to be shipped promptly."

How do you not know how much you paid for shipping?

An "attachment" of the postal receipt showing the tracking number isn't the way to show tracking for the shipment. What you'd need to have done would have been to type in the tracking number into the order where it says "tracking."

Without the number, ebay doesn't know or believe that you shipped it.

According to the feedback you left the buyer (which borders on a feedback violation since it's not really a positive message), you paid $75 for shipping.

I'm curious why you started this topic 6 months after the sale.

You lost because ebay doesn't care about their sellers and allows scammers to roam freely here. Its part of the reason I shut down my store, this platform is a total disgrace to e-commerce.

And for the record, ebay ignores handling times completely. Once the delivery estimate has passed, ebay just gives the scammers back their money and tells you to go pound sand. ebay apparently can't comprehend what the word "ESTIMATE" means. USPS does not provide guaranteed delivery dates for any service other than priority express.
