Item Specifics-Required Soon

I am selling eyeglass frames, and I’ve had recommended specifics that I’ve ignored for a while, but recently a few of my listings suddenly have a “item specifics-required soon”. What’s weird is that they say it is for “frame color”, which is something that was created while the listing was being made. For single for variant items, I would simply enter a frame color while listing. But for multiple color variation frames, I enter “frame color” as an attribute under “create variations”, which then causes the “frame color” box to disappear on the main listing creating page. 

right now for these few listings I am being told that frame color will be required soon. Which is weird, because this is being used as attribute for the variants. I’ve even looked now and double checked and “frame color” under attributes is right there. Furthermore, when I click on the “item specifics” eBay tab, it opens up the listing but there is no new slot to enter this specific that it is requiring of me! 

if I just ignore this, what will happen? I’ve heard listings won’t get blocked, but you can’t edit them. Would this include editing quantities only?

Why risk it?  Just fill in the info they want and explain any pitfalls in your description.

We have the same issue with many of our listings.  We already fill in the item specifics on all of our listings when we create them to begin with.  It seems to be asking mostly on multi-variation listings.  Nothing actually applies yet they still keep saying they are required.  As if we don't have enough to deal with right now regarding missing or lost shipments/ buyers screaming at us for their items that were shipped a long time ago but still not delivered, and returns, now this nonsense again.  Why??  I would love to know why this is happening when it does not even apply to our listings?

I got the same problem but in different way. After creating the variations based on color, it is asking to insert the color even if there is no any field to enter it. Think it is a system fault. But, not sure.

But i can’t enter anything... I was thinking not to risk it, so I went in to add the color it is requiring me to add. Except there is no box to enter a color (it disappeared when you use “color” as a attribute for creating variations while initially creating the listing).

That sounds like what’s happening here. Only for multi-variation listings, as the “item specific” that is being asked seems to be the attribute I had used to create variations, thus causing the “item specific” box for color to disappear. Hope this gets solved soon.

That sounds like exactly what’s going on here.... I can’t imagine getting listings blocked because of a technical fault on their end but who knows.
