Is there a way ...

... to put a link in a message sent to a buyer?

Every time someone contacts me I ask them to post a feedback.

Well, every time they HAPPY with me, anyway.

It would be great if it could be easy for them.

"Click <u> here </> to leave feedback"

Is there a way?

Popular opinion is, it's never a good idea to ask for feedback, you may not like what you receive.

I don't buy often, and always leave feedback promptly, so not for sure, but I think that the reminder that eBay sends links right to the page to leave feedback

Got to agree with @ebooksdiva !

Asking for it is asking for trouble.

You can put all the eBay links you want in a message, what you can't do is put links to an off eBay site.

I agree with others, begging for feedback is not a good idea, one day it will come back to bite you.

You might get a buyer that doesn't like being nagged (eBay already send feedback reminders to buyers (just as they do for seller).

You might get a buyer that isn't actually that happy, they might not leave any feedback at all but if you pester you could get feedback you won't like.

I notice you have received more feedback than you have left, why is that?

OK.

Good advice from all.

I won't beg or nag.

If they love me they can say so ... if not they can STFU.

Hey, THAT could be a bumper sticker.

Being a new seller,  I leave feedback for buyers after a day or 2 from their receipt of purchase whether they leave feedback or not.

I know there are many that wait for the buyer, but if it went well for me I'm happy to acknowledge it.

I don't ask for feedback and it sure would be helpful, but I'm good with trying to be a competent seller that tries to deliver items and services the way I'd want to receive them. I don't hold my breath waiting for approval.

Just saying.

Ultimately, my hope is that I have repeat customers and some that take their time to leave a positive word or two.

You can put a message with the item...a lot of sellers do that.

I don't think that is against the laws of eBay...as far as I know.

eBay already pesters buyers to leave feedback, so that job is done. I think that's probably enough since at least for me the reminder sits in front of my face on my account for a while.

Ebay usually sends an reminder email shorty after the item is delivered, I got 3 within a day after I got my items. If the buyer wants to leave feedback they will but mostly less then 20% really do.
