Insertion fees

With the new listing software, where will I see insertion fees?  Can't tell whether my listing is "free" before I list it...

Insertion fees

Everyone has at least 250 free insertions per month. Any rollovers would count against the 250. If you are talking about upgrade fees, sorry don't know for sure but should show when you see the list item now screen?

Near the bottom of the page, each and every time I do a listing it shows if the item will list "free", or if there is a charge.

Location may be different for you but any listing fees should be clearly shown before clicking that "list".

Insertion fees

At the very bottom of the listing page you'll see it.

If you have a listing fee you'll see it here - this is the fee for a second category btw:

If you have no fees you'll see this:

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Basically you have 250 truly FREE listings before you need to pay listing fees.

You can double that without charge by also listing on eBayCanada, but if you have only been selling for a year, that might be too adventuresome.

More important is understanding Final Value Fees (FVF).

The page above details those by category*.

Your FVF are based on the selling price+ the shipping you charged+ Internet (usually state) Sales Tax +30c non-refundable service fee.

You might also have non-refundable fees for options like Promoted Listings or Auction Reserve.

And one that startles new sellers, International Processing Fee, if your buyer is using a non-US credit card. This one can be added even if you are shipping to a US address. It's the card that is the reason, not the location.

*That Perrier lamp is the first item I've seen that might be worth adding a video to your listing, btw.

Why not?  Have you looked at your Seller Hub?  The Promotional Offers box on the Seller's Hub summarizes everything for us.
