I was relisting 250 items and it showed there would be no fees so I listed them. When I checked later, it showed insertion fees for 47 of them. I contacted ebay via chat and was told the fees would be removed within 3 days. Has anyone ever had this experience?

Just briefly when I transitioned into managed payments. I haven't seen that issue since that transition time frame.
Good luck!

How long did it take to get credit? I was told via chat it might take 3 days. Just wondering if I should call them also.
Thanks

did you look at the fees and see the reason the listings were charged?
Unless it is a system wide "glitch" the fees are usually correct.
I know you were told you would get a credit but there are many posts here where people were told by CS something that isnt 100% true.
Did you have any other listings this month that might explain the overage? Sellers without stores get 250 listings per calendar month.

It took a few hours to a day.
I have had several account corrections/adjustments and they were always very quick. These were all pre Managed Payments and the Seller Hub. I am not even sure how Or where you would look for a credit now.

Hello, fellow eBayers
I have had multiple insertion fees while using the Bulk Edit tool.
Example: More than twenty fees for the same item: I got charged multiple insertion fees using the same Title, which eBay usually block, but on this occasion, it was allowed.
(Thai Banknotes Catalogue 1853-2022 Complete Edition by Somchai Seang-ngern) More than twenty times, maybe even forty.
Can anyone explain in a straightforward way that I can understand the Bulk Edit tool terms?
I chose to use the Bulk Edit tool to revise all my shipping fees to the same category, only to find I have to edit each one individually. I chose all of the 256 listings to Bulk Edit. I edited a few, then ran out of the scheduled time. I relisted them "under the illusion" I would not be charged a fee for listings I didn't revise; Inexperienced?
I got my monthly Financial Statement with six insertion fees.
Customer Service has informed me, "The reason is I am entitled to 250 listings per month" I did not revise 256 listings but still got charged fees.
That has a knock-on effect, as some listings have been there for years. Now all listings sold within 30 days would get charged the promoted fee.
Is the Bulk Edit tool misleading?
Have I not done my homework?
I also had two standard fees in August 2022 (Specimen banknote) Sold for $169 and a coin sold for less than $30 (Coin) around $17 for Standard fees each plus promotion and advertising fees which left me out of pocket rather than making a profit.
The worst dilemma for any business policy!
Regards Steven

All the time. And it just happened to me again for $23. It even shows on my seller hub I have 26 free listings left from yesterday and I got a message saying I am being charged $23 for going over tonight.
