Insertion Fees despite having a Store

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this – I’ve looked everywhere on the website and can’t figure it out. I have a basic store and plenty of free listings left for the month. I went to post something in pet supplies and it showed that I would have to pay a $.25 insertion fee. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks!

Are you setting up a listing in auction format? Your free insertions for auction-format listings can only be used in selected categories:

I'm betting on nobody's_perfect answer.  It has bitten me in the past.

I figured out what it was. When I created the listing, Ebay automatically set it to Auction with Best Offer, which incurs a fee. I changed it to Best Offer, and the fee was removed. Thanks for your help!
