Inlay condition for records

I sell record albums on eBay. Does "inlay" condition mean inner sleeve of the album?

Inlay condition for records

I sell records from time to time. I've yet to figure out what eBay means by "inlay" but I assume it refer to CD as others have said. I tend to skip it if the record has a plain generic inner sleeve, and fill it in if it has special printed inner sleeve (lyrics, pics, etc.).

When I Googled that for you, the only mention of inlay I could find was this:

Inlay
The printed literature that appears in the back of CD cases.

I didn't find any other reference of inlay as far as LPs were concerned.

eBay doesn't provide a condition grade field specific to vinyl inserts so you can either create you own or use "inlay" even though it's not exactly accurate.

I'd guess that most sellers of LP's don't use either but do indicate the insert/inner sleeve (if it's custom/printed) condition in the Description.

Inlay as you probably know is more relevant to Compact Discs and Cassettes.
