I got some email yesterday from a law firm getech law in IL. I dont even know what its really about other then it says preliminary injunction e-link plastic and metal v. the entities and individuals identified in annex A.
Anyone have any ideas? I guess this law firm is some IP law firm. But i never got any vero or anything from what i recall recently. and anything I do get a vero on i take it down right away. I could very well have sold something that this is regarding but seems kinda crazy if they just put me in this case with no notification.
I did get my paypal temporaritly limited like a week ago. They wont tell me what its about other then they got a sealed court order. Would that have anything to do with this getech law thing?
I called the number on this law firm site but it just goes right to a voicemail. seems very strange. do i need to call a lawyer or anything ?

Just because it is not listed via vero doesn't mean it can be sold here or infringed on. I would definitely seek some council. JMO.
Good luck!

Sounds like another SAD dispute (Schedule A Defendants). It is the new 'cottage industry', in Illinois and FL courts dealing with IP infringement. You don't even have to be physically "served", and you may be sued under your eBay ID. eBay helps by holding your money hostage as well.
You can read about it here:

Just recently, a poster in another thread (https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/Brickell-CREELED-copyright-infringement-HELP/td-p/34441350) posted a link to a youtube video that shows what some victims did to help solve this problem. Basically, it is some sort of legalized extortion scam where they want you to pay up so the problem goes away. It was the first I have seen where people actually got results. I would suggest you read the above ^^^^^^ and watch this video.

It is informative in that sense, but I truly get the idea they lawyers and the courts DON'T want you showing up for your court date (which they will be hard pressed to disclose).
You can also peruse the tales of your fellow eBay victims as well. When these first appeared, they sound just like your ever day SCAM attempts, and victims were told to ignore them.

E Link Plastic & Metal makes plastic pill boxes, etc., and it looks like you don't have a written licensing agreement to sell their products is why there's an injunction against you. You need to seek the counsel of an attorney.

Wouldn't hurt to talk to a lawyer.
Probably want to read the dropshipping policy also.
