In Excel, problems with downloaded Transaction Report.

I download the Ebay transaction report by month.  I then reformat it, deleting some columns, rearranging some things, etc.  I save it in Excel workbooks.  However, when I go to retrieve it, it has disappeared.  I know this is somewhat in the weeds type topic but wondering if anyone else has had this problem.  Thanks.

Open Excel, then use the "open recent" option to open the file. From the file menu select "save as" not "save" which will open up a window where you can enter file name and choose file path. The window will show you the file path of where the document is currently saved.

You can also open up your OS search and type in a word from the file name to locate it.

Don't save it in an 'excel' workbook; save it as a 'file' (you will then choose 'excel'), name it, and save in a file for that month.
