ITEM SPECIFICS

Just fought my way thru more "required" specifics. Forced to indicate to buyers that the "blue glass" in the title is now identified an inch or so away as 'blue'. And this insanity is repeated over and over. A new one today: had to indicate length of glass basket; drop-down menu has choices "15 in", "16 in" and so forth; entered "5 in", and they erased it when I went to next box; solution (who knew?) enter just "5" and "add custom specific" allows you to keep the 5.  In other words, don't follow their form using "in" and all will  be well. Is this nuts? After 22 years of selling, 2 thoughts:

-- the people designing the selling have never themselves sold anything on  ebay or they wouldn't saddle their sellers which such usless tasks;

-- and, it's a good thing ebay has no serious competition or they'd have far fewer sellers.

ITEM SPECIFICS

eBay actually DOES have serious competition and they're feeling the pinch.  But they don't seem to be understanding that one of the problems is lousy infrastructure.

ITEM SPECIFICS

Yes, the item specifics are ridiculous. I understand a lot of them, but it’s ludicrous how many there are.
