Hello
I received neutral feedback about a box of jewelry that I sold, I started at one dollar.
I see it as unfair because I always sell similar boxes and people are very happy.
If I post a feedback review, what do you recommend I put in the complaint?

Thanks for your answer, it was probably junk drawer, I mean the word junk says it all
Why do I buy it if I don't like it? Sometimes I don't understand people
Besides, they are used things bought from estate sales, flea markets, garage sales, they are not new things, I mean, I don't understand

People sometimes buy lots like this because they hope there will be a "real" piece of jewelry in there that the seller overlooked.
They also hope that there will be enough good stuff in there that they can resell most of it at a profit. Or keep enough pieces for themselves that it is worth more than they spent.
And of course, they buy "junk drawers" without looking closely at the photos, thinking that everything will be pristine clean when in actuality, that does not show true.

Yeah, LOTS of keyword spamming in those titles.

You are certainly entitled to see the neutral as "unfair."
But the causal relationship you cite (italics) exists only in your mind.
It is simply not realistic to expect that everyone who buys such boxes from you will have the identical, positive experience.
In any event, most sellers regard a neutral to be as good / harmless / useless as a positive in the feedback world.

Yes, when I sell something I put a note to the buyer that before giving feedback if there is a problem they should send a message
She didn't send any message, she just put neutral
She probably did it to affect my feedback but I have already blocked her
Though it makes little sense, dissatisfied buyers are under no obligation to contact the seller prior to leaving feedback.
When there is a No Returns seller, sometimes buyers assume nothing will come of a complaint. They have nothing to gain if they believe a seller will not work with them.

Why offer return? If she already gave a neutral feedback'You say that if I offer you return will they remove neutral feedback?
No, not a good idea. It is a policy violation to offer a buyer something in exchange for a feedback revision. See policy below:
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-policies/feedback-extortion-policy?id=4230
”Sellers are not allowed to: Offer refunds or other monetary compensation, or additional items or services that weren't part of the original listing, in exchange for buyers leaving specific feedback or revising negative or neutral feedback..”

Thanks for the reply
So what do you recommend I put in the description so people understand what they are buying and that it may have an odor?

Honestly, if any item I was to sell had an odor, I wouldn't bother to sell it here on eBay or any other platform. People can be very particular, especially if they are an allergy sufferer. I would it elsewhere. I see too many red flags here not to mention returns. I know you don't want that to happen.
Good luck & Happy Selling

"She probably did it to affect my feedback but I have already blocked her"
I would say that she did a neutral so that it DIDN'T affect your feedback. Negs do, not neuts. It's her honest opinion about the product. As others have said you can either not respond or leave something generic like you can return the items for a full refund.

Most likely she won't bother with a return but it shows you stand behind your product and tells her you care about satisfying her transaction with you. She maybe won't remove her feedback but it will tells others you stand behind the products they buy. Your answer to her neutral is more for your business than for her.

Many people bought lots like this from me and they never complained, on the contrary, they signed positively and are very happy.
This is the first time I've been told it has an odor.

It does affect it if it keeps other people from buying it. I received neutral feedback and the woman would not answer any emails for revision and would not say if it was the wrong item or not. She also did not read the ad because I stated in the ad that the coins I print are not like original. I cannot copy original coins because it is copyright infringement. And I haven't sold a single one of those since she left it- so it has affected me.

I know that, I was searching for posts about neutral feedback. My point is that neutral feedback can affect a seller if it prevents other buyers from purchasing the same item. I think Ebay should add a pop-up message for neutral like they do for negative feedback.

Right and ......You can not use Melissa and Doug names or the name brand Fisher Price, or Brio....ecc for your custom made items. You do not own the rights to replicate those items and sell them using the name.
