This is probably simple question for experienced sellers. I have some ceramic plates cups etc. . I want to list them separately , that way I just put in the system dimensions of the box and weight right?

Now the question is, what if buyer wants two or more items, plates for example? How do I deal with that?

I can not send, if he wants 10 plates, 10 packages right?

You just carefully package multiple items together in one box, Using packing paper to wrap the plates each one individually, Then wrap them in bubble wrap, Fill in any empty portion of the box with more packing material, any type of foam material or air pillows would be good in order to protect the fragile ceramic.

Technically, yes, if you have them listed individually, you can send them each one-by one and charge a separate shipping cost for each box. (Combined shipping is not required, and some sellers don't offer it).

But most buyers will ask for combined shipping if they're buying multiple items.

I say on all my listings:

"I'll combine shipping. Go ahead and buy the items you want, and once I get them boxed up and get a shipping total, I'll refund any difference you paid."

Then I box them up, get a label based on the size and weight of that package, and refund any difference they paid.

Most people are ok with that. Sometimes people don't want to pay multiple shipping costs upfront, so if they message you telling you they want 4 plates, you can just create a new listing for them with 4 plates and the appropriate shipping cost.

You can set up automatic combined shipping rules
Go to Shipping Preferences and select Edit beside Calculated shipping rules.
Choose a rule, such as "Combine all item weights" or "Combine all item weights and subtract an amount".
save the rule.

Specify handling costs and save the rule.
Ensure the rule is enabled and applied to your listings
