After a finished auction someone other than the highest bidder messaged me telling me that their address changed in hopes of me sending them what I sold. How to report this user?
It is not easy to report a user who is not a buyer or seller. So you will need to contact customer service if you wish to report the fraudulent user. Below is a link on how to report a buyer, but at the bottom of the page is a box that connects you to a chat session, or another box to get an CS agent to call you back. These fraudulent accounts are difficult to track or catch. I am not sure eBay even attempts to do so. Be sure to add the ID to your block list. Good luck.
