As we know price gouging on hand sanitizer, face mask,Isopropyl alcohol and aloe vera gel has been a major problem for all selling platforms. While Amazon which is larger seems to have handled the problem effectively ebay seems to be having a real trouble combating this problem. I want to know why ebay can not regulate listing on their platform. Does ebay staff not have the technical training or know how of how to remove banned listings? I am in the tech field and would like to offer my assistance. Im familiar with some basic coding skills and would be willing to train ebay staff free of charge. Ebay obviously needs help and assistance so I encourage any sellers with basic tech skill to reach out to ebay and offer the your assistance.

You can help by reporting any of these types of listings. EBay can only remove them one at a time, so the process is slow, but eventually all listings will be removed and any new ones prevented from being listed.

It certainly seems to be prevalent.
But it has not been a "major problem" for me or anyone else I know.

Considering you're not even a seller I wouldnt expect this to be a problem for anyone "you know" Why are you even browsing the SELLERS forum???

First off, not everybody (like me) uses their selling 'name' when posting on the forums.
Secondly, why do you think that ebay can't control the listings? Have you ever considered that it may not be in their 'game plan' to want to control them?
Such questions, and many others, have floated around here almost as long as I've been around ebay (22 years). Lots of speculation, however, unless one is on the BOD or in the corner office, it is just that - speculation.
