How do you get Authenticity Guarantee on a listing?

I have been trying to list a pair of preowned Jordan's but for some reason I do not get Authenticity Guarantee (AG) on my listing. I actually did list them but I removed the listing because if you search for that shoe literally my listing was the only listing that did not have AG on it. I tried starting my listing from the UPC and I also tried starting my listing from Sell One Like This from another listing of the exact shoe that did have AG on it. But, even when I did that my listing did not have that option.

I'm rather confused and can't figure out why I don't get AG on mine. I asked eBay for Business but unfortunately they weren't much help. The lady gave me a rather canned response and also added 'maybe your price is too low?!'  I don't think that is it because it was an auction and because the listing I piggybacked off of had a starting price of $10 less than mine and they had AG on their listing.

Anyway, just wondering if there is a magic trick that i'm missing.  Thanks for any help!  🙂

Hi,I Thank you, I have already looked at that link many times over. My shoes are eligible. Like I said my shoes are literally the only one that comes up with no AG. And, like I said I literally tried starting with a listing for my shoes that had AG on them. Same UPC, model # and everything.

I'm tired and don't really care anymore. eBay trying to push the sneaker game and my account is resisting 😆. This has taken way too much time. I'll stick to listing my odds and ends 😆

Hi again, @delightfullykind ! I went to your Completed listings so i could review the one you said you listed, but then took down. I did not find the sneakers were actually listed.

You mentioned that you attempted to list them from the UPC, from a Sell Similar etc. Did you do this under another ID? If not, if you only set up your listing as far as  looking at a preview page, and never sent it to a live listing, then the AG badge may not have shown up just on a preview.  Until there is an actual live listing, it is hard to say where the problem lies.

Just a thought—still trying to figure out an answer to your question. I know you said you were too tired to keep trying, but there are many seasoned sellers on here that can potentially help if you come back and try again.
