First step we need the 1099 K for proper data and control. Already have State Sells tax worked out, added and has become the new Normal. NEW STATES ADDED THIS YEAR! Also Ebay is adding some new arrangements for keeping better track of sellers selling stuff.
I think it will level the playing field between Brick and mortar stores and on line sellers. It will place more control to the economy and better protection for Manufacturing and big box retailers. it will make a end to the small part time sellers. I'm Already seeing it. And of course there will be new policing and new type fines needed to pay them.
I also noticed today Manufacturing does not sell a product anymore. Today they rent you the use of that product? `They control the name and the selling of that product and going after resellers not buying them from their authorized distributors As you may see this is already taken place and they are removing those products from online sellers. Product logos are copyrighted. Just like the US NAVY once stated Just because a ship is sunk. It's still naval property.
I'm going to try and stick with eBaying 2 more years. I have 23 years now so I just need 2 more years and I get my 25 year GOLD PIN the Official eBay WATCH and my 10% Discount card. And may stop there. It's getting too complicated anymore.

Are you not a secret undercover Ebay operative here like the rest of us? Then youve been doing it all wrong.

So you believe that internet sellers should be required to get a special permit or license to sell on line?
Who would issue this license, how much would it cost and how would that be enforced?
As a seller, do you not believe you are paying enough to sell on eBay and other venues?

Did you know two things were invented in 1913 > THE FEDERALD RESERVE and the IRS. The Federals reserve note was the only payment you could use to pay the IRS. Made the note valuable. America use to be A TAX FREE NATION of Free trade.
"In 1913, the Sixteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified. It states: "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration." --https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/income_tax
The worse the spelling....

I don't believe it's needed. But I see it's coming sooner then later. Control will be enforced the same as the Brick and Mortar stores. They are paying expensive fee's and business license and it's enforced everyday. And if they don't play by the rules or get in trouble like fall behind. they just cut them off and close them down.. And Yes selling on line is getting very expensive today.

Yes it all helped seal the deal As well as the promise that all the Federal Reserve Notes would always be backed with SILVER & GOLD. How is that working out?
the deeper the hole gets the more we all will feel the pain. What comes after 30 trillion anyway ?

Ever heard of the Commerce Clause in the US Constitution? It would take a Constitutional Amendment to require a license to conduct interstate commerce.

In some towns you do.
There's a small town near us and on one road headed into town, there is a small sign that says if you sell on the internet, you have to get a permit or be fined.
How much they enforce it, don't know, but it would be interesting to find out.

I feel like things like the 1099K added will be part of connecting and better tracking of online sellers, that then opens up more opportunities to incorporate future license fees and market control. But that's just me
You have a happy NEW YEAR as well
