How do you cancel a refund request?

The buyer requested a refund before allowing the item time to arrive. As expected the item arrived but the buyer does not see an option to cancel the request for a refund. Can this be reversed?

Did the buyer open an Item Not Received claim? If so, enter the tracking number into the place provided in the message that you received.

Have you confirmed the item was delivered? If not, watch the tracking and wait for delivery. If tracking shows it's hanging at a particular point, call the shipper and verify the item is not damaged or lost.

Before giving the buyer a refund, did you file for a Trace on the package?  Did tracking show it was moving but slowly?  Did the buyer file an INR?  

It appears from what little you posted that you did refund the buyer?  If the tracking showed the item was not even due for delivery yet, they would not have forced you or suggested you refund the buyer yet.

Please give us more details.

What date did the buyer purchase the item?

What date did you ship?

Did the buyer open an INR and on what date?

Did you file for a trace on the package?

When did the item get delivered?

Your  refund can not be reversed.  But if your buyer wants to keep the item, you can bill them through PayPal for the original purchase.  Let the buyer know the invoice will come from PayPal and the buyer can pay from that invoice.

Close what?  If the OP refunded the buyer on an INR, it is closed already.

The buyer opened the INR request and the item arrived shortly after. The item had an eBay tracking number and the tracking has never been updated after being dropped off at my local post office. Thank you for all the replies. The buyer ended up closing the request.
